Your post hit the nail on the head. We need to realize that war was declared on us no later than 9-11-01, probably sooner. Not many people are willing to call this a religious war, because they are afraid of how it will be recieved in the west. As soon as the US realizes the gravity of the situation that is at hand, we can begin to deal with it appropriately. I think Winston Churchill said it best many, many years ago: "You can always count on Americans to do the right thing - after they've tried everything else."
