The problem with such a meeting is that they dare not talk about the problems associated with abortion. Where were the women who had depression after their abortion? Where were the women that had complications afterwards? Where were the women that decided to adopt their babies out? I am not arguing that abortion should be illegal. I am just arguing that putting a postive spin on a very heinous act is quite disturbing.

Presumably the event was planned with the idea of countering the barrage of anti-abortion activism that pervades this country. How many people on FR would have a problem with a campus political or religious group staging an event which focused on the negative aspects of Islam?

I appreciate your views, but I'd like to ask this: If the fetus is a human (or we're not sure) why should killing it be legal?
