Good afternoon.

Well, at least it will be easy to mark your targets.

Cleansing us of the innate Muslim? You have a point. Maybe this should be done sooner, rather than later? *grin*

Comparing the Islamofascists to Klingons was....an insult to Klingons..that's why I said they (the Islamofascists) are more like the Ferengi.

Hope that clears it up.

"they (the Islamofascists) are more like the Ferengi"

Curiously, many ADL-type groups considered Quark (the Ferengi bartender) to be a re-tread of the Shylock sterotype of Jews.

Me, I think everyone is too offended this days.

Heck, just today someone snipped at me, claiming my tagline was "anti-Christian." LOL.

That should have been for me. When I refer to Klingons, I'm referring to pre-Whorf Klingons. Pre-Whorf Klingons lived to conquer the Federation. Klingons were mean. Klingons were really nasty. Klingons would fart in air locks.

The first ones just weren't very nice people, though that changed with TNG. I like Whorf.

To All Those That Want Me To Apologize For the Cartoon:

Neal Boortz said it best today: where has the outrage from Muslims been for years when the Islamofascists behead, blow up, murder innocent women and children?
I have YET to see them marching over ONE Islamic atrocity!

What a bunch of whackos these people are!! It's pretty ironic that they don't understand that it is because they live in a free country with freedom of speech and expression that they are allowed to gather and protest and hold up signs advocating MURDER!! I wonder what they would do if they were arrested for inciting hatred and murder? I wonder if they would scream "free speech!"?

Ugh...

To post or not to post. That is the question.
As long as you're recalling the benefits of spellcheck you'll want to notice that "baton" only has one "t" and frankly we're not interested in the state of your furry end - firend.

If it was not for the absence of foaming at the mouth, I would swear these Muslims act as though they are rabid animals.

"That is why I believe Iraq is so important. If a free and tolerant nation can be born, proving cultural change is possible, we may well avoid an all out world war."

That's obviously not going to happen. We can't control the chaos and the different factions. Those wonderful Iraqis who we liberated have also been having demonstrations against the cartoons. The Iraqis most likely hate us more than the people in other Muslim countries. We should put Saddam right back in power as they deserve him.

The fate of Iraq is a totally different issue from that of Islam. The nature of Islam isn't dependent on whether Saddam is or is not in power or whether there are elections. The religion is toxic and has produced a dysfunctional society. How can superficial changes like a dictator's removal or a few one-day elections change the inner nature of a civilization that stiffles free thought, creativity, and tolerance?

US failure in Iraq is not going to matter in the long run, as the West, and the rest of the non-Muslim world, is still going to have to confront Islam. In the unlikely event that Islam can either reform or fade away peacefully, that would be great. If it can't, then there is going to be a worldwide cataclysmic war, compared to which our efforts in Iraq will be but a mere footnote.
