Transportation funding was taken out of the tax increase package. So Virginia's roads still need help.

The people in No. Va. have been complaining about the roads for at least 20 years. Every last damn square inch of ground could be paved over and people would still holler for "more and better roads".
Until VDOT can prove to me that they can be trusted with our money, they should not receive one more nickel in state funds. NOT ANOTHER NICKEL!
I don't think it's a funding issue... more like who's been funded... VDOT is missing a chairman.
Whoa... At least our roads aren't as bad as the Maryland interstate system.... If I had a gallon of cream driving between Baltimore and Hav d'Grace I would have enough butter for a year!
