I am also a life-long Baptist and come from that heritage. However, those of you claim that Baptists are NOT Protestant are mistaken, in my opinion. I will say this--I believe that the doctrines and beliefs held by Baptists are generally more "pure" and true to the Gospel and Scriptures than a lot of Christian denominations and sects. That does NOT mean that Baptists possess special truth unknown to other Christian groups--indeed, MANY, MANY, MANY Christian groups are just that: Christian.

yeah...they thought the DC sniper was most likely white as well...(rolling eyes). Odds are in your favor, but I find it odd that this happens right after the 'outrage' over the cartoons of Mohammed. Time will tell, but somebody ought to go take a look at some of the radical islam sites and see if there are any postings calling 'jihadists' to burn christian churches.

Southern Baptist churches are not all white, but are mostly white.
It could be an anti-religious kook, since Southern Baptists are known to be more conservative than other denominations. Even though Alito is Catholic, his confirmation seems to have stirred up the left to a scary degree against Christians in general or conservative Christians in particular--
