These statistics would be much more meaningful if they carried back to the beginning of the Bush Presidency. I certainly don't blame him for the recession that had clearly begun before he took office and was almost over when he was sworn in but an accurate accounting would still begin in 2001. It is disingenuous to count the 4.9 million created since 2003 without also counting the 2 million lost in the first two years.

The entire purpose of this post is to highlight the inept statement of Nancy Pelosi made in August 2003.

If you can not understand that, then you are much too obtuse to label fellow freepers disingenuous.
