Activist Cindy Sheehan was arrested last night after demonstrating in the spectators gallery of the House of Representatives as part of a larger war protest that was held outside the Capitol.
Sheehan, who was apparently given a gallery ticket by a member of Congress, began to attract notice about 30 minutes to an hour before President Bush's State of the Union speech.

She was also vocal, said U.S. Capitol Police Chief Terrance W. Gainer, and after she ignored instructions to close her jacket and quiet down, she was led out and arrested. Demonstrating in the House gallery is prohibited.
The WaPost, of all media, gets it right.

She will do anything for another 15 minutes. What a sad person.

The Post's account is completely different from the one the SheBeast posted on Micheal "Eat" Moore's website. The paper better be ready for flaming e-mails from the Moonbats.

Who among us doesn't think she was going to shout out "Why did you kill my son" or some other crap at a moment of relative quiet?

Sheehan, who was apparently given a gallery ticket by a member of Congress, As if the WaPost didn't know she was invited by left-wing wacko America-hating DemocRAT Lynne Woolsey whose stomping grounds include those of Johnny bin Laden (aka Jihad Joe).

I hope she doesn't go too far thinking about assassinating the President.

Its always strikes me as weird that these so called pacifists are always preaching their peace rhetoric and singing their ''all we need is love songs''. while inside they're hearts are filled with hatred and vicious fury for anybody that happens to disagree with their philosophy.I pray every night for our troops and our President!

Who among us doesn't think she was going to shout out "Why did you kill my son" or some other crap at a moment of relative quiet? Ya know, for two cents, I would have loved for the entire NATION to watch her being arrested by screaming at the President. Betcha the Dems sitting there would have had to duck under their seats in embarrassment!!!!!!

Anybody who wears a sweat or tee shirt to a major speech has no taste or respect.

I don't think that the dims sitting there would have been embarrassed at all. The were already acting like classless, spoiled, snotty little brats from the beginning of the speech. If mother sheehan had done something like that they wouldn't have ducked under their seats, they would have applauded. They still don't think that there was anything wrong with their disgusting behavior that night.

Judging by the fact that you just signed up here today I'm guessing that you are little troll. And YES, there is a dress code at the Capitol, tee shirts with slogans are not allowed to be worn while you're in there princess.

You hit the nail right on the head there.
Sheehan has become nothing but an attention whore.
Her dead son no longer has anything to do with it.
To: sophist0914
By wearing a protest T-shirt ( real class by the way) she was protesting in the House gallery, which is prohibited. Given more time, she would have done even more to be arrested.
She is a mockery to her sons memory! (and a nutcase)

Cindy said she didn't wear the protest t-shirt on purpose for the SOTU, she just had it on from all her daily protest activities earlier in the day.
Right. Like she didn't have a chance to change clothes when given a ticket in advance to the SOTU. Oh golly gee, I still have my t-shirt on! Oops!

Hmmm...that sounds sort of like a DU comment. Did you accidentally make a right turn in cybespace when you meant to take a left?
