Look what Louisiana did to an Indian-American running on the pubbie ticket. As I recall, he had the election in the bag until the dead rose from their graves by the thousands in New Orleans.

No, Jindal would have lost even if the New Orleans dead had stayed entombed. Jindal lost critical votes from conservaties in North LA, some of whom thought he was "too young" for the governorship.

Yeah, as I recall it went south on him late. Like Hugh Hewitt says, if it's not close, they can't cheat (or if they do it won't matter).
