I didn't know you were against one of the key elements in any good immigration reform proposal. The idea that employers who violate the law by hiring illegals, should be punished. That was in the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. Its still the law of the land today. Now I know where you stand on this specific immigration issue. You don't stand with me, or with the 65%-70% of the American people who want to see employers punished for violating the law. Fine.

To impose business with the enforsement responsibility is an unfunded mandate. At least I know you are a big tax type of guy as long as business pays up.
