Yes, I am. Boehner is a solid conservative, and his tenure has been free of taint. He is well-known and I believe well-liked amongst other Republicans in the House, and his clout will give him the authority to make needed reforms.
Having an Ohioan as Majority Leader won't hurt in the Fall or 2008, either.
I like that he was part of the House Bank cleaning...........and I'm glad that we're getting a fresh start.
I also do NOT mind that he's from my very fine and IMPORTANT state. :)
