Isn't Boehner strongly in the grip of the tobacco companies? Or is it just that he is a heavy smoker? Will Blunt continue as "whip." He can't count votes, for he had declared himself the winner earlier.

Boehner handed out campaign contributions from the tobacco lobby ON THE FLOOR of the House while the house was debating ending tobacco subsidies.

He may not demand bridges to nowhere, but he's not clean.

Shadegg was a much better choice. At least Boehner is miles ahead of Blunt.
