Somehow I don't think this was a major movie shoot with a cast and crew of hundreds, but a couple of guys with a video camera. But you need a permit.

Wow! Good thing they got that thug off the streets. I feel safer now. Good thing our government is cracking down on this. Reminds me why I lock my doors at night.
I'll bet he didn't even have any gay or lesbian employees either. How can you have a wilderness/wide-open-spaces movie without gay people?
Oh the humanity...

I can see how federal lands might require a use permit for commercial uses, but...
How can it be a criminal offense, punishable by imprisonment, to use and film on HIS OWN land?
Aren't federal lands owned by all of us?

Please show WHERE in the constitution this requirement is justified!
You can't find it either?
Maybe because it does not exist?
Just Fed's doing what Fed's do, without justification or accountability.

Going back about 5 or 6 years, preparing for a trans-Atlantic, we put in to Edgartown (Martha's Vineyard) to top off provision wise and wait for better air ... the Atlantic (at least where we were sailing) was essentially flat calm. Anyway, in my exploration of the island ... this was Bill Clinton's favorite vacation spot, Walter Cronkite has a home there, who should I see hobbling along with a cane ... Larry Csonka.
So this revelation doesn't come as a surprise ... this is a 'Rat enclave and now it all sort of comes together. Yeah (you're thinking), how would you come to that conclusion ... since you were there. Trust me ... if you're a 'Rat celebrity that's where you want to be seen ... and Csonka looked completely at home.

What is the federal gov't doing OWNING ANY LAND?..
The federal gov't is "the people" that OWNS lands in one state Obviously "the people" in a state are not "the people" anymore.. Congress has become a Parliament and the States have become Provinces.. When did this Coup D'Etat happen?.. And why are not Americans outraged at the over through of our government?.. Who stole the republic and made us democracy?... You cannot be both..

I'm glad the Feds are on the ball to stop this sort of stuff. Next thing you know somebody might be tunneling in drugs from Mexico or something.
