I've often wondered if these stats include one or more viewers watching the same tv.
That's another good question. My guess is that multple viewers per TV set tuned in is somehow factored into any statistical analysis that produces these numbers.
You might also ask what about all the folks who viewed the speech from their hotel / motel rooms all across this country.
