I have a round thingy, in the back of my laptop.

Why will I "never look at my computer in the same way again"? I am VERY bad at using a mouse. ( My husband has a computer and a mouse and I have tried to use it a couple of times. )

Clicking on menus and buttons is much more intuitive than tabbing or using key combinations. And I have no idea how you would cut and paste text without a mouse, but mousing is the easiest way to do that. Drag and drop, and all that.

If you had trouble with your husband's mouse it could be because you didn't have enough time to practice, or maybe because you needed to adjust the speed (how far the pointer goes for a given amount of mouse movement). That can be adjusted to slow it down (or speed it up), as you like.

Yes, it's easier than you think.
