How did Danny Boy get to congress? Did his great uncle die in office and will it to him... Almost! Danny boy began his career as a Congressman in Los Angeles County. His Daddy was Richard Nixon's Doctor and used those connections to launch Danny's political career back in the 70s.
Years later he carpet bagged up to Northern California and won by virtue of a complex three-way race as described by SW above.
