Don't, you'd lose. For starters, you don't know me at all. In 1986 the deficit was coming down, welfare entitlement and non-security discretionary spending had been reduced and Reagan nominated a solid conservative to the SC by the name of, Antonin Scalia. And the GOP ws getting my donations. Life was good.

Not according to some "true conservatives".

Conservative critics like the Heritage Foundation's Stuart Butler did not try to hide their disappointment and frustration. Six years into the Reagan presidency, Butler wrote that "the basic structure of the Great Society is still firmly intact .... virtually no program has been eliminated."[xv
