Self-selective polls like this one reveal nothing but the motivation of those who take it.

In other words, it's pretty worthless.

A new online poll of 1,028 conservative activists

Imagine that. Conservatives wanting the repubs to me more conservative.

I wonder what A new online poll of 1,028 moderate activists would show. Maybe wanting the repubs to be more moderate.

Viguerie: Poll Reveals Anger PERIOD!

A good many of these people are just perpetually angry. I remember as clear as a bell how even when Reagan was POTUS, the 'perpetual whiners' were as unhappy as ever and never stopped complaining, griping, carping, ...

Little do some of these people realize that when they are always hyperventilating and negative and angry about everything, NO ONE LISTENS TO THEM ANYMORE!

A recent on line poll showed that Hillary Clinton was not going to be the First woman to hold the office of POS.

I could not find the author but I do believe that though flawed this poll is accurate!

The other night I received another phone call from the GOP for another donation. Read them the riot act. I told the CR until Bush and the GOP leadership in Congress addresses illegal immigration&open borders, along with liberal spending&big government, I wouldn't be sending them a dime. The last time I held back financial support for the GOP in an election year was 1992. Bush 41 got my vote, just not my money. By 1994 things had turned around. Newt's Contract With America drove the campaign agenda and the GOP took full control of Congress for the first time in 40 years. Conservtaives have to hold PresBush and the GOP Congress accountable for their actions on these domestic issues. This year my Congressman will get my vote, just not my money.

Viguerie was on the Savage show today. He does indeed know a lot of the history of modern conservatism.

A poll says I'm supposed to be angry? Well, I guess I'm angry then. Wait, what are we supposed to be angry about? Will they take a poll about that? I'll just wait here and semi-pout.

A recent example might be the governor's race in Virginia. A leftist won the race for governor of Virginia. The Republicans in the State House and Senate raised taxes; the Republican running for governor positioned himself as a moderate who stood for nothing. He took his good old time to reaffirm the second amendment. It it no wonder he lost to Tim Kaine. It does not seem to matter whether Virginia has a Republican or Democrat in office, because there is no conservatism.

A new online poll...

Online polls, no matter what they show, are worthless.

If the they were accurate, then John Kerry would have won all 50 states in 2004, the House and Senate would be 90% Democrat, and the population would be demanding homosexual marriage be made legal.

Of course, just like the Democrats and MSM media do with their bogus polls, the Bush haters will latch onto this poll, claim it is true, and then use it to justify their whacked out positions.

Perhaps most troublesome for the GOP, Viguerie pointed out, is how that anger may affect the 2006 mid-term elections: 51 percent of donors said they plan to reduce or end their financial support in 2006

And that is why 2005 was a record year for the RNC.

Some of the issues that are making Republicans and conservatives in particular angry today are not trivial. It isn't about whining for the sake of it and history has proven over and over when people get angry enough they will throw out incumbents.

BTW, Vigurie probably made this "online" poll, because he isn't in the loop.

JMO, it's called political sour grapes, bruised ego, etc.etc..

73 percent gave it a D or F on "reducing illegal immigration”

Nooo. That can't be. Why, the Bush administration has been doing an outstanding job ending this problem.

Just make them all legal, and poof!, no more problem.
