Excellent suggestion about how to preserve the truth by keeping papers, books and DVD's and your own memories of the Bush Presidency. I agree that the left controls the media, educators and will likely rewrite history in their favor. Look what they are trying to do to rewrite Bill Clinton's horrible legacy. You should share what you have collected so that we can all benefit. My kids are in college and are very curious about what is going on politically. They can see the liberal Bush-hating from their professors and want to challenge them without putting their own grades in jeopardy. They want to believe what they have been told about conservatives but keep getting conflicting information from all of their sources -- college, friends, MTV, the rest of the media, college papers. It is a tough battle for them not to give in to all around them but I believe they know the differences and are fighting for what is right.

Thanks Kevinm! Don't forget that the Regnery Press has published what liberals hate and it's a significant publisher.
As for your children in college, it's a challenge to be your own person and avoid retribution from the faculty, but this is how successful conservatives are made: as they will become more able to articulate dissenting views effectively and gracefully :-) Witness CJ John Roberts and Associate Justice Samuel Alito.

I saved all papers and magazines from 9/11. Also Afghan and Iraq war. Books: All of Bill Sammon's books (and I especially recommend the one about Gore trying to steal the election in 2000 because it explains exactly what was going on and why we were so outraged). I have saved campaign materials, and videos and dvd's of the conventions and the Inaugurations. Also have dvd's of significant speeches and news conferences.
My recollections are taking longer to put down, aaaas every event seems to require tons of explanation about events preceding it. I am alsao assembling a list of bookmarked threads that will give eyewitness accounts of things...live threads from the Florida Court cases, the conventions, election niights, etc.
It is especially important to me that this be done so that a truthful record will go forward. I am sure the future Bush library will have the same information, but the fact is that most of us don't get to visit presidential libraries, and I want this information accessible to my family.
