The problem I have with any kind of real diet is that I'm at school. So I don't have much of a choice. I'm doing what I can. I've been eating more vegetables and trying to stay away from the cheeseburgers. But there's only so much I can do here. We do have the cafe, though, which serves subs and salads and I go there if the cafeteria is serving something REALLY fatty like fried chicken or something. Or sometimes just because I want to.

I know what you mean. My kids have been, or are still in college. You're limited in what you can do.

At least it's better now with salad bars and fruit to choose from.

When I was in school, we had starch dinners with starch on top and starch for dessert. There was no hope.

And in addition, girls didn't have the use of the gym because..........well, girls were just girls, and the guys needed to have it (which was why I was a feminist back then :).

It was a tough thing. Fortunately back then I lost weight easily, and lost what I had gained throughout the year when I got home for the summer.

Time for bed now! Nice talking with you, ilovew. Hang in there, kiddo!
