When they evacuated for Ivan it took over 12 hours to get to Baton Rouge from NOLA. There are not many bathrooms along the way because there is a lot of swamp lands in between. Also several older people died from dehydration due to the length of time they were on those non air conditioned buses. However, Nagin should have at least utilized the buses he had.

If I was fleeing for my life, I would take a chance of an alligator biting my butt. People traveled without air for years and years.

I just hate Nagin's attitude that it was everyone's fault but his own.

Our church has been sending cleanup teams ever since the hurricane, week after week, and not one word of thanks from this fool.
