There's been a good deal of media exposure urging America to back the Iranian people against the Islamic state. Yet of all that I seen, nowhere is there offered even modicum of detail about how to go about this. Why is this, and what is being done to fix it?

In summary, and simple terms, what does one do who wants to help the Iranian people?
