Looks like Miss Manners needs to write a piece saying that a T shirt with anything on it is not appropriate to a State of the Union.
Why would anyone wear a T shirt to something this formal and somber is beyond me. Would this woman wear a T shirt to a black tie dinner?
I support the troops I don't support Cindy Sheehan, but crimony folks, stop wearing T shirts as bill boards. Let's have some decorum here. These are the same halls folks like Daniel Webster orated from.

Long been the victims of oppression, newly emancipated women are still not getting the message.

They seem to forget that along with equality comes responsibility and respect. IF you want to be appreciated and have your message heard.

Some women's frantic antics embarrass me greatly. There is nothing more "arrived" than a knowledgeable female engaged in oppositional debate and yet retaining the decorum women do so well.

The PMS hysterics can stop now - they are taking women's rights back to the dark ages.
