The following is a list of possible amendments (prepared by the Senate Finance Committee Democratic staff): ...Kennedy

(2) Medicare drugs
(3) Medicaid/chip
(4) R&D for 3 years - current law
(5) R&D for 3 years - modified version of S. 2020http://democrats.senate.gov/dpc/dpc-new.cfm?doc_name=lb-109-2-1

Did Wyden's amendment about the tax breaks for oil companies just pass a voice vote?
Senator Reed of RI is now up, having 2 minutes of debate to argue for his motion to instruct. Grassley rebuts in that the motion to remove a tax benefit in 2009 in order to fund military supplies now is silly.
The tax in question is tax on dividends at a rate of 15%. This will be a roll-call vote.
