(look what the cat dragged in on #63... a peace rioter who is offended by rules of a polite society)
I don't hit people who take my photo at public demonstrations.
I didn't hit the mangy dumb asses who slapped lefty bumperstickers next to the license plate on my vehicle, which I am sure they took note of.
I didn't hit the similar mangy dumb asses at another demonstration who felt it was their right to steal my yellow ribbon from my vehicle and spit on the doors of it as well.
I didn't hit the idiots who charged up to me and surrounded me, pushing and shoving me as I was videotaping on a public street at a public demonstration.
I didn't hit prissy Malachy Kilbride when he charged me and began slamming his sign into me and my video camera, asking me as he did, "You gettin' a good view of this?"
The friends I was with on another night didn't drag from his car the guy who threw an apple at them as they stood peacefully on a street.
We've had people from your side vandalize our vehicles, destroy our signs, take our photos (GASP!), shoot video of us (DOUBLE GASP!), push, shove, hit, throw things, threaten and insult us and the children with us...
But we don't resort to assault and battery, as those on your side do.
Those on your side feel that they are entitled to do whatever they want, even physically attack those who they do not like or whose looks offend their delicate sensibilities.
Your friends made a foolish mistake when they beat up a cop.
The streets do not belong to you and your buds, no matter how often or how loudly you chant, "Whose streets?! Our streets!"
If you go out on the street to participate in a public demonstration, you will be photographed and filmed. By MS Media, by independent media, by freelance photographers, and by police.
Get over it and get used to it.
The streets are not your personal sandbox.
Do not throw sand in anyone's eyes, or you will get a well-deserved timeout.
Now I will go read the article. ;*)
I am speechless what a great come back!!
You are my new HERO!
Well said and well thought.

In after the ZOT.
You wouldn't want to escalate things, he does swing a bigger purse than you...
