Keith, that is a beautiful thing.

I wonder, how many times did your Mom tell your sisters that.

I hope I am not insulting sisters, but that sounds like a mantra instructed by a Mom to daughters.

Mom relates that in her school days, girls caught chewing gum had to recite that as part of their punishment.

Best line:

Yet there is a difference between responsible criticism that aims for success, and defeatism that refuses to acknowledge anything but failure. Hindsight alone is not wisdom. And second-guessing is not a strategy.

I figured it was something like that...

it would probably be illegal today,

it would make someone feel bad, boo f^&*ing hoo...

I don't know how things are in Iowa, but New York has completely lost control of children......

there are girls getting knocked up at 12 and having 6 kids by the time they are 20.

Is there any room in Iowa for a beer thirsty Irishman?

Agreed!

"hindsight alone is not wisdom".I can't imagine what his critics must think of that.

The President's calm confidence is inspirational.

Beleive it or not, there is one victory the American people must have.....

it is not about the war..........

we must keep queen hil from being in the White House.

Any evil person that wants power as much as she does, should never ever be allowed to have it.

Although according to the Mayan calender, the worls is due to end on December 21, 2012.

We can stop that, hell even the ancient Mayans knew what a disaster that (fill in any filthy word here) would be!!

One of President Bush's better speeches in terms of delivery.

That said, I was far from impressed at the content: I heard nothing really new to me, nothing unexpected, nothing really important... Pretty much the same sort of political pablum that every President has spouted at nearly every SOTU address in history.

At least there was a lot of applause, at least Cindy Sheehan got herself arrested. Maybe Mr. and Mrs. 'Joe Sixpack' might bring away some good feelings about it.

I expect that the polls will show a few more 'pro- Bush' points in the next week.... But I have no greater hope for a bright future for America than I did yesterday.

",,,beaming to the Republican faithful and savoring the day's decisive victory."

...while the President listened to a chorus of voices from the Democrat section of congress, "Please, please Mr. President, thrown us a bone. We've got nothing to show for being looney Democrats."

We have military academies...

why not a Medical Academy, then grads would owe say 10 years to the Gov and would be required to work in Gov clinics.

Am I stupid or what?

"Just caught Joe Scarborough on with Chris Matthews for reaction to the SOTU. What a clown that guy has turned into. Banging on the table saying the dems could win congress if they got their message out about the culture of corruption, the largest deficit and debt in history and Americans dying around the globe for no apparent reason."

Democrats cry "Wolf!" about some faux GOP "scandal" at least weekly. It's all that they've got.

They've lost most registered voters nationwide. They've lost most state governorships, most state legislatures, the House, the Senate, the Presidency, and today they finally lost the Supreme Court...

...to which moonbat Senator Boxer actually got in front of a C-Span TV camera and claimed that Republicans were out of touch with the American "mainstream."

This, after she just lost her failibuster 72 to 25.

Uh, huh. They're going to take back Congress this year about like they were going to kick Jeb Bush out of the Florida Governorship in 2002 as "revenge" for the 2000 "stolen election."

The moonbats might buy it, but sane America does not.

It would be prudent and if you are unfamiliar with Rudy, he is a kick ass New Yorker and he makes shit happen.

Nobody will be allowed to sleep on Rudy's watch, he would continue the war and double it.

Remember, Rudy got hit with the shit on 9/11. He will remember that when the time comes to rain down hellfire and brimstone on our enemies.

72 to 25.

25% is their mainstream. And when it's 10%, Boxer will still call it mainstream.

I would have had to be on a distant planet for the last ten years to be unfamiliar with Rudy.

And friendly advice,Nitro, the trash talk is unwelcome here, you know that.Thanks.

What did you think?

From my POV, it was one of the best SOU's he has given.
