I didn't see it, but I did hear it on the radio. I loved it. If I had had the luxury of being in front of a TV, I would've looked for Hillary Lenin when he came to the part about Justice Alito. Did the cameras alight on her surly face at all when that happened? How about the luminiscent (albeit a bit long) countenance of His Eminence John Filibuster Kerry?
Thanks in advance for any/all replies.
The camera panned to her as Mr. Bush joked about two of his father's favorite people turning 60, Bubba and him...no kidding...she looked like she was passing gas. Someone behind her fell over and the Secret Service rushed in.
Kerry was panned and went into deep prayer (aka ducked) following the President saying, "...hindsight is not wisdom, second guessing is not a strategy."
He seemed to be saying quite clear that complaining for the sake of nothing else to offer undermined our troops and overall efforts in the WOT. It was very well done, tactfully, but without a doubt what he meant and for whom it was needed said.
The FOX camerman knew darn well who it was about and went right there.
President Bush said "Congress did not pass my social security plan"
The Democrats stood up and jeered, FNC focused in on Hillary who was almost dancing waving papers (She looked like a 7 year old looking at a castle of Birthday cake)
I watched FoxNews and in one shot you could see Kerry and Alito. Alito had a beaming smile on and Kerry looked all sullen, kind of like Lurch. Kerry was in the row right behind Alito. I think about 2 seats over from being right behind Alito. Alito must've heard quite a few swear words. I wish I could've been a fly on Kerry's lapel. Would've been hilarious!
