If you find that is not strong enough, cut out a piece of drywall, add a piece of 2x4 between studs and put the drywall back over it.

It's not that hard to do.. I hope she gets better fast.

That add-a-stud trick is a last resort for someone with my skillset...but it's not impossible.

I just hate to do it in a brand new house! Oh well...

Thanks for the good wishes. We're both looking at a better recovery this time around.
