My husband retired this year due to injuries sustained in April 2003 from an rpg that exploded. He is an EOD tech who has had the pleasure of working with Burghardt. This is one outstanding Marine, but truth to tell, they all are. I am constantly impressed by the knowledge, leadership, and integrity these men present. They are rotated in six months, out six months. It's constant deployments, but they stick with it. They believe in what they are doing. In the last few months, we have buried five EOD techs and have several more in the hospital in DC. These guys can use your prayers, as can their families. They laugh and joke about the pink mist, but at a funeral, there isn't a dry eye in the place. This is a tight knit group of men.Keep up the good work, Gunny!
