Clinton was possibly one of the best speakers I've ever heard. But when he was done, neither my husband nor I could figure out what he'd said.
They say the same for Garrison Keillor, but he's a damn idiot!!!
I know! Didn't some of Clinton's SOTU's go on for 90 minutes or more? I really think it was to ensure a lot of applause interruptions. But I am cynical when it comes to him.
Clinton was a gifted speaker. I think it helped his poll results despite his abyssmal leadership and horrific personal failings.
