I still doesn't mean I can't admire her a woman.

A better legacy for a retiring Supreme Court Justice would be a legacy of guarding and protecting the U.S. Constitution. Justice O'Conner did achieve a lofty position. In the last few years of her tenure she was discussing scuttling the U.S. Constitution in favor of following international law.

Being a corrupted person of a particular sex does not make the status achieved as a member of that sex an admirable trait. I'd say that she squandered any opportunities to reflect favorably on her sex by her actions.
