From these photos of Kennedy, I'd have to say that this is a man who may not be around much longer - his face is a pasty white and he's dropped weight (no jokes) and the above poster mentioned how his right hand is oddly hanging. If he dies, does Joan (as his last wife) get to decide whether or not to fill in his seat or does the gov'r of MA get to select someone?

Has anyone said that Kennedy is sick or unhealthy? I'm unaware his health is bad.

The Kennedy's have a longevity gene in them and Teddy's weight loss is because he is running for re-election, but if he did die (I'm no fan of his but I'm not routing for his demise), There would be a special election to fill his seat. It use to be that the Governor would appoint a replacement but Massachusetts recently passed a law calling for a special election because they thought John F'en Kerry was going to be President and Mitt Romney would appoint a Republican. Poor Joan. No one deserves a partial lifetime with Senator Chivas.
