You'd think that after some 30+ years in the senate that she'd have the part about the role of the senate and the founding fathers' intent down pat by now!

I suspect, as someone said earlier, that she is jumping on the bandwagon of Susan Collins, the other Republican senator from Maine. Collins is somewhat more reliable than Snowe, but not much.
