You'll see that the top ad is about the next Dateline show: "They expected a date with a young teen. Instead they got a date with Dateline... and the cops! To Catch A Predator"

The "etc. etc." almost blows it. It introduces a brief glimpse of someone who is aware that there are various and sundry other issues not included in your current discourse, that in turn implies you're not a dumb as you let on. It also implies you might know big words like etcetera.
Otherwise it was perfect, and funny too.
