CAIRO, Egypt (AP) -- Kidnapped U.S. journalist Jill Carroll has appeared in a new video on Al-Jazeera. In it, she's weeping and appealing for the release of women Iraqi prisoners.
Last week, five Iraqi women were freed from U.S. custody. U.S. officials said the release had nothing to do with the demands by Carroll's kidnappers that the U.S. release Iraqi women.
No sound was aired with the video. But Al-Jazeera said she appealed for the release of women Iraqi prisoners.
She's visibly crying in the video, and is wearing a conservative Islamic veil.
Prayers for Jill and her family.
FNC just reported this too. Didn't we already release the women, or at least most of them?
The people that are holding her are the scum of the earth. They deserve a long and painful death. The more I see and hear about the Religion of Peace the more I come to believe it should be wiped off the face of the earth.
There is nothing "conservative" about that veil. Oppressive. Traditional. Orthadox. yes. Conservative, no.
A woman does not have to put a bag over her head does to show she isn't a hussy.
FNC said the tape was marked as of yesterday, but something's not right.
We didn't have to kill every German or Nazi to rid the world of Nazism.
Just as much is at stake this time. Terrorism must be stopped. They will be brought into the 21st Century even if they must be brought into it kicking and screaming.
We can't keep going through hundred year crusades every couple hundred years.

That "journalist" high school kid was B.S., too. All sorts of links to terrorist organizations. I'm sure he was going to be a jihadist and got cold feet.

You are not alone. I'm not even certain it's gone bad, other than they haven't secured the release of all Iraqi female prisoners. I hope for her safe return home, but based on her pre abduction columns, she certainly wasn't on our side.
