Here you go: August 10, 1981 "CARTER CRITICIZES REAGAN ON MIDDLE EAST: Former President Carter presenting a crystal sculpture yesterday to President Anwar el-Sadat in Plains, Ga. Mr. Carter, welcoming the Egyptian leader, accused the Reagan Administration of not actively pursuing the Camp David agreements . . ." http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9E03E7DD1639F933A2575BC0A967948260

Still looking for whether Reagan ever had Carter up to Rancho del Cielo.

That's fine - I will be happy to go away as long as everyone knows who "ignore(s) the facts of history" around here.

They called Bush a wimp in 1988; how right they were. He handed the Presidency to Clinton in 1992.

Willie Clinton is a a strong Christian, and I can prove it.

Remember the Holy Bible that he always had tucked under his arm for Sunday AM photo ops?
He was so concerned about taking good care of it, that Bible is still in its original `shrink-wrap'.

I don't think anyone asserts he is a "strong" Christian - however, see Romans 14 about helping our weaker brothers.

I'm not sure about all the "strategery" but I will note that President Reagan was gracious to Carter once he got him out of the Oval Office

But Carter wasn't the ragin' lunatic he is now. He was still lickin' his wounds from getting utterly thrashed.

In a bit of irony, President and Mrs. Reagan spent that day, August 9, 1981, horseback riding and working around their ranch, Rancho del Cielo. Following Sadat's assassination, Reagan STILL treated Carter with more respect than he deserved by including Carter in the official delegation:

I'm not ignoring the facts, I'm trying to ignore you. You obviously have a bone to pick with me that goes beyond this thread. Fine.

Now, lets have a link to the full NYTimes article you refer to and not just a title and sub-title that was created by the NYTimes. Okay.

Since I'm supposed to be ignoring you now, how about you do your own homework for a change? That was just ONE criticism Carter had of Reagan. I'm sure you can find plenty more where that came from.

That's not the way it works. I asked you to back up your your original post with a factual link. Not some NYTimes headline that doesn't offer actual quotes. Who knows, you maybe right. The fact remains, Bush43 and Bush41 have both treated Clinton with more respect then he deserves. Reagan never went overboard with Carter. Reagan never called Jimmah his brother and he never played golf with Jimmah either. And including Carter in the official delegation to the Sadat funeral is not only common courtesy, its part of US dipolmatic policy for ex-President's. Even today, Bush43 would have to include Carter in any delegation of that type.

I don't recall Reagan EVER golfing - I posted that Google search already. As for the way it works, I gave you the cite to the NEW YORK TIMES - if you think it is false, prove it. Just because you don't have a paid subscription does not mean I have not done enough homework for you already.

Many would say that Bill Clinton has survived his own stupidity only through his association with the mafia. Let's see, how corrupt does one need to be to gain favor from the mafia? Birds of a feather because they were both once US presidents? I'm skeptical of that claim but then again I just don't trust any politician. The fact that Bill Clinton is in good with the Bush family says much about the Bushes, and it isn't good.
