I teach the shooting sports to kids all the time. Usually half of my students are girls and they do very well.
We'll have to bring in more helpers and increase the number of students so we can help keep up with the tide of ignorance.
If you think the guns are scary how about a silenced weapon that is nearly 100% fatal at 50 yards when in well trained hands. A weapon that is not traceable, not registered, and the ammunition can be purchased or manufactured with no age check of any kind. We start training these kids at nine years old and by the time they are 13 they are fully capable of taking big game with their compound bows. We have two local programs going right now with well over a hundred and fifty kids being trained in this deadly art. The Boy Scouts and 4H both have archery programs. At least 50% of the kids who shoot in 4H are girls.
