Did George Bush say that Clinton is like a brother?

I hope I was having a bad dream, but I thought I saw somewhere that George Bush said Bill Clinton was like a brother to him. I cannot find it on Drudge, or here. Did the world strip this from print?

Why can't the kneejerkers get anything right? He never said Clinton was like a brother TO HIM. He said his father and Clinton are so close now, it's like having another brother in the family. It was a joke, and it was about 41's closeness to Clinton ever since the two of them were teamed up to fundraise for the tsunami relief.

Wrong. First, it didn't even happen the way it was described here. My post above tells the truth, not the fable. Second, it you're Libertarian, you should know the best name for it I've seen is Losertarian. Not to mention the pro-drugs...

Does anyone need any more proof that American politics is an elitist scam? They really are all the same. Corrupt, and power hungry. I guess if they're all one big family there might be some "criminal congress" going on here and the resultant mutants will be an abomination. The political reality of the day seems to indicate some already are.
Perhaps they are just openly laughing their arses off at all the party groupies they have been able to dupe for so long.

I bet he was just mentioning Clinton and brothel in the same sentence, and it was misinterpreted.

Keep your friends close -- keep your enemies closer. President Bush knows what he is doing.

I just heard part of that interview on Fox.
IF Bush says that "Hillary is like a sister to me", I'm going to run to Canada..LOL.

Thank you.
If you actually heard the President speaking toI think it was Bob Schiefferhe was very artfully and politely dodging the question.
People who get their knickers in a bunch over this kind of stuff have never had to be diplomats in their entire lives. SOMETIMES IT IS NECESSARY, ESPECIALLY IN POLITICS.
Ask Ronald Reagan.

I've read the entire quote several times, and no matter how you slice it, Bush looks like a dolt for saying it. I have no idea why he continues to keep Clinton in the spotlight. The guy criticizes the president while overseas last month. Why does he insist on keeping this guy in the headlines? Sometimes Bush is not the sharpest knife in the drawer......

Well, Bush and his brother Bill both like big government statism, so I can see the family resemblence.
