Typical Democrats/Liberal - if only you have enough money you can achieve whatever you want. Sorry Howie - reality has bitten you again. But knowing you, you will go to the doctor (wait - you ARE a doctor), and he will slap on some Neosporin and a Band-aid and you will be as good as new before you know it!

The only funny thing Al Sharpton ever said --- and he said it just after the Dean Scream in Iowa in 2004:
"I'd scream too if I spent all the money you spent and got so few delegates."

Much of the problem can be laid at the feet of her heinous. She does her own fundraising outside the DNC. I give a lot of the credit to our losing candidates in 2005. The dems spent about 300 million in 2005. 240 million in CA to beat the intiatives, and 60 million in NJ and VA governor races. That is a lot of dough to spend in an off off year election.

Soros can come up with another $50 million before next November. He may be tapping out. He spent alot in 04 and he may have used a lot in 05 too.

Oh Lordy Lordy, think of all the stupid saps on the net that sent him money for his presidential bid. And then the dips..t Dims. put him in charge of their money! TRUELY PRICELESS! GOTTA LOVE IT!!!!!!!1

In an odd way, this is beginning to look like a replay of 2002. Terry McAuliffe diverted most of the money to the Florida Governor's race in an attempt to oust Jeb Bush as retaliation for 2000, and lost House and Senate seats in the process, due to lack of campaign cash (not that it would have helped).

This is nothing new -- I wonder why they are getting so upset about it all the sudden...Maybe it's a show and they are trying to mobilize the loonies that donate.

Stranger things have happened. I think the Dims are in hysterical meltdown. They've neglected a platform, opting to accuse the Bush administration of anything and everything and getting smashed in the face every time.
I think that the Dims think that they're just doing what the Pubbies did to Clinton. What they don't understand is that Clinton was guilty and the Pubbies had a terrific platform to run on.

This is exactly why Hillary stayed pretty clear of his appointment to the DNC post. She knew he'd fail...and that she could later make a pitch for her man/woman in the job...just in time for her nomination at the Dem convention. I posted my theory on FR when he was put in the post. I really do think she's ultimately going to name her own person to the post. I also think Bill will be her campaign manager. She's going to need the very best handlers she can find....cuz' she's such a bad product.

Not surprising that someone who has no idea what money is worth would be out of money. You are right on the money with that statement!!
