...the good news is that Jimmy Carter is leaving the Middle East.

Too bad this prune-faced, asinine simpleton doesn't keep his mouth shut!

Kahtah needs to shuffle off into the obscurity he so richly deserves after his miserable term as president. He should reflect on his Panama Canal giveaway and contemplate why it was another less than tactful move that has endangered our nation even further.

While he's walking off the precipice into obscurity perhaps he'll hold hands with those other two commie jackasses (one from Hope the other from Hopelessness.)

They're not corrupt fiscally because they weren't the ones in power for the last 40 years. Given their total disregard for life and human decency, becoming financially corrupt is a mere formality. When they realize that they can kill Jews and put massive amounts of stolen UN and EU aid money into Swiss bank accounts, they will joyously do so.

If Hamas was not corrupt, now that it is running a government it will become instantly totally corrupt. It is how things are done properly in that part of the world. An official's first duty, regardless of paper forms and procedures is to help his family, get them employed in sinecures, get them incomes and awards. The more bureaucrats and rules there are the more that people who wish to build something or keep property or do most anything will have to get a host of officials to sign off on it. Each will require baksheesh- grease. It is an ironclad natural law and moreso in a people with a strong tribal tradition.

Jimmy Carter was the worst President in the 20th century and has gone down so far as the worst ex-President ever. Bubba could pick up this title over time if he keeps opening his mouth and following Jimmah's footsteps.

But, as Jimmy Carter said, at least Hamas isn't corrupt.

So, blowing up children isn't "corrupt"? Jimmah is an evil fool.

By this reasoning Carter would prefer murderers to thieves? (At least you know where you stand with murderers and such nonsense.)

Israelis are in shock over this development and they wonder how they will be able to negotiate with these newly empowered Islamic Jihadists in their midst. It's one thing to fight terrorists living in the shadows, but quite another thing to deal with them when the are legally elected officials in a sovereign nation that borders the Israeli State.

My first thoughts on hearing of the Hamas election victory was that it was a good thing for Israels fight against terrorist. Governments are easier to fight than terrorists hiding in the shadows. World opinion can turn against an abusive government but small terror groups are more often the concern of the police. Now that the Palestinian people have endorsed Hamas and their policies, aren't they all complicit with the decisions of their government? Aren't they all now targets for the Israeli military and intelligence arms? Doesn't Israel now have a right to make war on a hostile government on its borders?

They have to be in power to be corrupt on any noticeable scale. IF they stay in power, they will prove Jimma' wrong....again.

Not corrupt ... just evil.

"while they have a terrorist past, at least they're not corrupt"

Lol. Is there a link to a site keeping a collection of Carter's assinine quotes? I'd love to have it.

I think it's funny. It's pretty telling when the only good thing you can say about an organization is that it's not corrupt. And Fatah was the poster child for corruption.

Is that the same Jimmy whose administration is most remembered due to their total failure in the Middle east?

So much making Amy a presidential advisor at the age of 8.

Just shows once again why Carter was the worse President in many years. His head in buried in the sand. What a national disgrace Carter was when we had hostages in Iran.
