Hope so pard, but what will rise in the empty place? Do you think the dims will get a clue and actually root for the USA? And who will lead since the moderates and the loyal opposition are beaten down by the leftist moonbats?

No idea. The last time a political party (in a 2-party competition) disappeared (the Whigs), it took two "false starts" ("Liberty Party" and the "Know-Nothing Party") before the Republicans came along. Before that, when the Federalists died, an entirely new political structure was created.

Don't assume that things will align like they did in, say, 1970. It wouldn't be outside historical experience for the GOP to remain a kind of monopoly party for 3-4 election cycles.
