Chaffee hasn't said whether he will vote for or against Alito. It really makes no difference. He WILL vote for cloture. That's what really counts. We have the votes to get Alito confirmed with at least 53 Republicans and 3 Democrats.
We'll find out today. He's scheduled to make his speech today.
