Told ya. (Not you personally, but all). THIS IS WHY YOU WIN ELECTIONS. Even though Chaffee will vote against Alito, he voted the "party line" for cloture.
And even though Specter is often an ass, he ramrodded these hearings like an ironmaster, and repaid Bush 100% for supporting him.
