Boxer's probably burning records of her son and her own connections to Indian gaming money in Northern CA. She has been conspicuously silent about the Abramoff (sp) scandal, has she not?

oh oh .. I hadn't heard that one :0)

Will look for links and ask any who have them to help. We live in Sonoma County and it came out quite near election day that her son (attorney, I believe) represents the Indian tribe that "managed" to get approval for a controversial casino here in Sonoma County.

Babs Boxer canceled her public appearance in liberal Marin, because she did not want to face the questions after the story appeared. She "represents" Marin/Sonoma just as she "represents" women.

Found some info on Boxer - Indian tribes. Point Reyes Light newspaper:

Point Reyes Light - November 2, 2000 Sen. Boxer ambushes Woolsey, adds casino rights for Miwok...

"However, since then the bill had stalled in the Senate Indian Affairs Committee. In the rush before the close of the 106th Congressional session, Boxer last week added the gambling rights, repackaged the bill with other Indian-related business in a single omnibus bill and sent it back down to the House, where it was approved with little debate – and without Woolsey’s knowledge..."
Also this:

"...The company has retained Darius Anderson of Platinum Advisors LLC to lobby for its interests in Sacramento. (Anderson partnered with U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer's son, Douglas, to buy an option on property desired by Station Casinos, but I digress....

Mr. Reid, Mr. Dean, any comments?
