8 a.m. would have gotten him on a 9 o'clock flight to DC and he would have arrived by 2 p.m. and 1/2 from airport to the Capital would have put him there in plenty of time to vote. This isn't comforting.

No someone called off this morning so I had to go in. Perhaps that's why I am confused by the Cloture vote. I figure that the Senator was on his way to the airport, that makes sense. Is there a local office you can call to inquire about his welfare and whereabouts? What is Al Jazeera up to now?
