I talked at length with his Mom Debbie yesterday, and will be at the services to honor Sean. I'm in Midlothian and lost my Marine too, so we have a lot in common. I'll do what I can to help them through the tough times.

It must be a comfort for the Miles family to know you are there to lend a hand and a shoulder. I am so very sorry for the loss of your son.
We are just down the road in Powhatan and will be attending the funeral service. We have never met Sean or his family but reading about him made me realize how much he was like my son. And any Marine is family.
FYI Before I found the GuessBook for the Richmond Times Dispatch, I posted a picture and a message on the
Boston Globe site. There is another book on the
New York Times site that has the same messages but the Richmond book has different ones. I thought they might update it somehow & link them together but as of now they haven't.
