He sounds good... How's Mannix? Is there anything wrong with him, or is he just not as willing to press controversial issues?

Hes a sore loser, lost 3 state races. Paid his debt from his run for governor in 02, with the state republican parties money. Was are state chair and never put up good canidates.

Mannix is a former democrat, Mannix is anti-gun (he'd say pro common sense gun control, it's the same thing), Mannix has been a pretty mediocre republican party chairman, Mannix is not liked by the hard conservatives and the dem base hates him (because he was a big mover and shaker with measure 11). Other than that Mannix is just fine. I'll vote for one of the other two Republicans, haven't made up my mind which yet.

He doesn't seem very conservative to me. From what I understand, he still has some significant debt from his failed '02 run for the governorship. To me, that doesn't indicate very much fiscal responsibility. I'm sending my '06 political tax credit to Atkinson. I think he has what it takes...
