The comment on Fark this morning noted that she had traded in her well for a trailer.
The happy couple is registered at Walmart:

Don't they know how they treat their workers when it comes to healthcare?
"My husband is 13+ years older than I and our 13th anniversary will be here in a few months.
Some folks just don't get it and I see you are one of them!!!"
My husband and I have a l3 year age diffence, and have been married 26 years. I was involved in a euthanasia thread here recently, and some guy had the nerve to say that my husband was my "father figure", that our marriage was "scary", that my husband was too old to marry me (he was 33, I was 20), called my husband a grandpa (we have no grandchildren yet), and crowed about how he had married a woman 5 months younger than himself- so he had a normal family and I didn't. (BTW, this moron was pro-euthanasia.)
I was pretty astounded to get this response on a conservative website. You're right, some people just don't get it. Maybe the people posting the negative comments are divorced and bitter?
So this guy’s thinking “Hmmm...I marry this young girl and I can retire at 38...”
I think you hit the nail on the head. I’m just really surprised that no one else has come up with this conclusion. This guy gives new meaning to “Robbing the Cradle” if it’s the trust fund he’s after.
For her sake, I hope he didn’t marry her for the trust fund, but maybe her Mom warned her about guys like that.
“When you actually join the military, you can consume alcohol.”
In 1957 perhaps but in today’s military, underage drinking is punishable under the UCMJ.
Hmmmm....
If they wanted nicer things they should have registered at a nicer store. Isn’t that why all of the weddings I have gone to have registered at Macy’s for china and silver?
“Geez...I’m 32 1/2 and I still can’t get married.”
I’ve given up. My “soul mate” must be lost somewhere. I really don’t mind except I have no children and everyone probably thinks I’m gay!! (I did live in Calif. for a long time). Oy.
May she and her new husband find life together one of happiness and contentment. Bless them both.
Hah, I've about given up, too. Now 34 and still not married!
