I was always intrigued by the library established at Alexandria by Alexander the Great. It supposedy contained most of all that was known at the time, including things we still do not understand.

One thing I had read was the fact the ship that brought St. Luke, The Physician, across the Mediterranean Sea to Israel, had lights that burned without scorching walls, ceilings, etc.!
Without a source causing heat, could it have been electricity, and the knowledge of that was lost for a long time??!!
