On the other hand, red states would be unlikely to completely outlaw abortion, except maybe for a few. Most would probably end up with laws that permit abortion in the first trimester.

I disagree, many Southern states (Miss, Alabama) Western states (Utah, Idaho) would certainly outlaw it completely. In my opinion, the red states would largely outlaw it, except for actual medical emergencies which might kill the mother, which do happen once in a while, but has been used as a loop hole concept all this time to justify all abortions.

Well, lets just make sure and have abortion banned at the federal level. After all, we are talking about the right to life here. . .a right endowed to us by our Creator.
