Sounds like what they need is heavy equipment and strong bodies, rapidly available. If we have any nearby units in Nato they might help. Otherwise the most we could offer is medical help for those rescues. However I suspect the response of many European and American libs will sound like an Algore speech. It's the worst winter in history. Blame global warming!

I can't help remembering the Hubert Humphrey Metrodome (the best named building in Minnesota since it's held up with hot air.) They presumed said hot air would melt any snow so didn't plan for its removal. Alas like the rest of liberal hot air this promised much and delivered little. Snow downed the dome in the first couple winters. After repairing and reinflating it they promised to remove future snow via cranes, no doubt with union labor. Come the next big snow they removed it too quickly, the dome rebounded into the cranes, ripped and collapsed again. A perfect icon of liberalism.
